Urgent Update from the KGA: Welcome to Season One
Kolluseum has officially dropped the Beta tag! While we are currently using placeholders for art and graphics (the KGA does not utilize or support AI images), the rules are fully tested, revised, and locked for Season One.  It will remain a living document with continued updates but the core mechanics are locked for the duration of the season. Glory awaits!

KOLLUSEUM

The galaxy's favorite way to watch you die.

"You're here to put on a show for the crowd at the expense of your Talent. If you go out there, try and kill some stuff, and have a good time, your name will echo in glory, or at least as a footnote in next season's Rememborium, brought to you by Final Word Publishing, Make Your Last Words Last." - Becki "Smilin' Bek" Johnson, KGA Spokesperson

Kolluseum is a fast-paced skirmish game for 1–2 players where you manage a roster of “Talent” competing in a corporate-run bloodsport where performance metrics matter as much as survival. Every match is a spectacle, and every kill is content.

The game is designed around a single core idea:

"THE CROWD GETS WHAT IT WANTS AND THE CROWD WANTS BLOOD."

  • Dramatic two-roll combat resolution means combat is brisk, violent, and crowd pleasing!
  • The game is quick to learn via a structured Training Camp; the crowd wants you out there fast.
  • A core 2d8 roll gives managers predictability, but not certainty, as they coach their team to victory.

"If nobody dies, I’m getting spicy cheese with my pretzel, gotta feel something." -  Wendy Roilins aka @RoilinThemUp12. Catch her full vLog in Stories from the Kolluseum below.

Each match your decisions push your Talent to their limits, risking breaking them to win. Stress and fatigue build throughout the game, and they can only take so much. Push too far and your team will break in real time. Keep your Talent fresh enough for the final push, or watch them collapse under the spotlight.

Impress the crowd with bold aggression or stylish flair to game Momentum. Unleash the crowd's favor as in-game advantages. Ignore them at your peril, your opponents won't. The crowd remembers glory.

Choices today impact Talent tomorrow. Scars don't heal in league play. Lingering injuries and suddenly missing Talent means Managers must actively manage their team between matches to squeeze all they can from a battered and bruised Roster. Every decision leaves a mark. The crowd loves marks.

Remember: It's the Talent out there dying, not you. Go out there and put on a show!

Is This Your Kind of Game?

Kolluseum is for players who:

  • Thrive on interactive skirmishes that keep you engaged
  • Revel in stories of glory, defeat, and engagement metrics
  • Demand a strong solo mode that doesn’t feel scripted

If so...
STOP READING. START KILLING.
The crowd is waiting.

Solo Mode (Test yourself against ACE)

Face off against a reactive AI system with:

  • Multiple behavioral protocols
  • Dynamic targeting priorities
  • Sims that hold grudges
  • Adjustable difficulty dial and "Overdrive" chaos modes

Glitching means the AI is unpredictable, grudges means it won't stop. No two matches play the same.

Everything you can get NOW (always free):

Kolluseum is an evolving game with ongoing updates and new content.

Pre-Match Details:

  • Use whatever minis you have (~6 per side; 28-32mm scale is best, but they all die the same)
  • The board is part of the game. Designed for vertical 3x3 boards but the crowd will cheer for whatever you've got.
  • Never a dull moment. Alternating activations mean you're always doing something
  • Fast matches. Usually under 2 hours once you get the flow down (no one has all night, fans have places to be, too)
  • Hardware: Grab some d8s, d6s, a tape measure (inches), minis, and some tokens.
